SHIPPING INFORMATION
Shipping rates – AUD• Shipping rates for Domestic freight will show at check-out and are calculated using the Sendle shipping rates based on the weight of your order.
• In most instances shipping will be delivered within 2 to 3 business days however, Western Australia and some remote locations could take up to 5-7 business days.
• Varied Flat Rate International Shipping Via Auspost/DHL Express (2-7 Business Days depending on location) Costs shown at Check-out based on weight of order.
All orders will be processed in Australian Dollars at the checkout.
Delivery Times
All Domestic orders are shipped by Sendle, and upon your order being shipped, you will be provided with a tracking number. We estimate a 1–2-day processing timeline.
Product Variation
It is important to note that with the handmade knives, it is safe to say that there may be small variations between the same type of knife. No knife will be completely identical. Very minor and slight fluctuations may occur in wood grain and colour, steel pattern and finish, and packaging. This what makes having a handmade knife so exiting and we hope you feel that way as well.
Customs/International
We do our very best to look after our customers, however in the case of International orders there is the possibility that your order may be held in Customs. In the instance that that this occurs you may be required to pay an import fee/duty in order to receive your knife.
Please note that any customs related issues are the customers responsibility. It is also the customers responsibility to ensure that they are aware of any import fees/duties/restrictions on the purchasing and delivery of knives to their country of residence.
RETURNS POLICY
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but happily offer an exchange within 5 business days of the knife being received. Any longer than 5 business days unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. If however, you have a warranty/defect concern, please get in touch via enquiries@yagihanaretail.com and we will make sure the matter is dealt with quickly and efficiently.
It is important to note that some of the handmade knives require special care and maintenance, especially any high-carbon knives that are not stainless. When purchasing these types of knives, you will be directed to the care and maintenance section to ensure you know how to look after these knives.
While we do our absolute best to ensure you are aware of the care required for these knives (product descriptions prior to purchase, care instructions provided with every purchase), we are not responsible for any damage occurring to your knife due to failure to adhere to these care instructions.
*As we do our very best to ensure you know how to care for these types of knives Yagi Hana Retail WILL NOT, under any circumstances offer refunds for carbon steel knives that have a patina or have developed rust. *
Upon receiving each knife and prior to shipping we carefully inspect and quality check to ensure it meets our high standards. Please get in touch if an item has been damaged during shipping.
Cancellations
Processing your order usually takes 1 business day after the order has been placed on our website. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us via enquiries@yagihanaretail.com so we can arrange this for you.
If for whatever reason you wish to cancel your order after it has been shipped, you must return the item to us and we will return the full cost of the item to you, minus shipping fees.
Refunds
Upon the receipt of your refund item(s), please allow us 1-2 business days to confirm and inspect the item(s) and either approve or reject your claim.
If approved, we will arrange a credit to your original method of payment.
Shipping of returns
It is best for you to get in touch with us at enquiries@yagihanaretail.com to arrange the return of any items. We will work with you to arrange a pickup time and location, usually via DHL. We will provide the return shipping address to you in this instance.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the items are warranty claims or damaged by the freight company. We will deduct the cost of shipping from the cost of the items.
